A stickler for details, Nathan is known for focusing on “the little things that make a big difference.” As a coach, he prides himself on teaching fundamentals and techniques properly, as well as using these skills to gain an advantage on the playing field. Nathan currently coaches at his alma mater, De La Salle, as the running backs and corners coach. He also trains athletes of all ages throughout the Bay Area, helping them to maximize their potential in whatever their sport may be. Nathan is originally from Vallejo, CA. He played college ball at St. Mary's University before transfering over to UNLV where he was a starting safety and team captain.
Maurice Jones-Drew, running back for the Oakland Raiders, played high school football at De La Salle. He received a scholarship to play college football at UCLA and received consensus All-American recognition. Jones-Drew was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft, 60th overall, and has been named to the Pro Bowl three times. He also led the NFL in rushing yards during the 2011 season.
Drew White played cornerback and was a two year starter at De La Salle high school before going on to play at City College of San Francisco. He recieved a scholarship to D1AA Gardner-Webb University and made the Dean's list. Drew White trained with Coach Kenion at the end of his Freshman year of high school throughout the rest of his playing career.

Here at Kenion Training we pride ourselves on providing the best coaching through experienced individuals with extensive knowledge of the game at various levels. Most importantly every coach on this staff is focused on what will make each athlete better and more prepared in their career.
Matthew Gutierrez is a former NFL football quarterback. He was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He was a three year starter at De La Salle and continued on to play college football at the University of Michigan and later at Idaho State. He has been a member of the Omaha Nighthawks, Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears.
Rudy Yamanoha is a high school coach at Rancho Cotate. He coaches our wide receivers and has an in-depth understanding of what it takes to play at the next level. His son, Chris Taylor-Yamanoha, is a KT Prep Alumni and is currently playing WR for the University of Louisville.
Rob is one of our Offensive Coordinators. He's coached at the University of Hawaii as a Special Teams coach as well as a Quaterback coach and Offensive Coordinator for the Las vegas Gladiators Arena League Team, Los Medanos College, Western High School (Vegas) & Bonanza High School (Vegas). Rob grew up playing at Antioch High School where he started at QB as a Sophomore through his Senior year
Thomas DeCoud is the newest member to the KT Prep Coaching staff. Thomas grew up in Vallejo, CA and played for Hogan High School. He later went to play safety at Cal on a full athletic scholarship. He was drafted in the 3rd round during the 2008 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He made the Pro Bowl in 2012 and finished up his career with the Carolina Panthers. Thomas is currently a trainer and coach at Monte Vista High School.
Devin coaches on the defensive side, overseeing the LB's. Devin has been coaching for several years and has coached at St. Pats in Vallejo,Ca and recently began assisting at De La Salle. A true competitor, Devin has a knack for getting the most out of each student athlete and pushing them to excel.
Julian is one of our LB coaches. Julian has been around the organization helping coach over the past several years. His dedication and passion for helping young men get better on and off the field has been shown by the progress of the student athletes that have come through the progam.
